DMM Bitcoin reports the discovery of an" unauthorized leak "of about 301 million dollars from its digital wallet in one of the largest hacks of a digital asset platform, the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange DMM bitcoin (DMM Bitcoin) said that it discovered an" unauthorized leak "of about 301 million dollars from its digital wallet.

The company said on its website that the exchange is still investigating the outflow, which is equivalent to 4,503 "Bitcoin"coins.

A large number of services are restricted, including cryptocurrency withdrawals.

In a tweet, blockchain research company Chainalysis called the incident a "hack", describing the funds as stolen.

"Chainalysis" said that this amount is the seventh largest cryptocurrency hack ever. The "leaked" funds have been distributed across 10 cryptocurrency addresses so far, according to cryptocurrency forensics firm TRM Labs.


The exchange said:

"We have already taken measures to prevent unauthorized leakage, but we have also applied restrictions on the use of certain services to ensure greater security.


Please make sure that all customers ' bitcoin deposits are fully secured, as we will purchase the equivalent amount of bitcoin that was leaked with the support of our group companies,"he said.
